Kim Rendfeld is a writer of historical fiction, specifically, stories set in
eighth-century Europe. A wordsmith from her earliest days, Kim has
impeccable research skills and an instinct for the meat of a story.
After about 20 years in journalism, she decided to work in higher ed at
Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. Kim’s fiction takes the reader
back to another time via the familiar routes of human longing and drama
